honestly, none of this is self promotional. i do what i do because i do it... if people like it, wonderful. if not... i will still do it. just meant as an explanation from the heart & mind. i ended up taking adolf's idea of "a year in the life" and running with it. the year will be done in 3 more weeks... the first half year is on my youtube channel if interested. www.youtube.com/coolpoolmedia search for "loewy year", :-) it has become an art project... and it will be a 100 minute film at 1 second an image...

(part4) i have exchanged some images for the story to be even more telling... ending with the sight of "vision air" (yes, there is such a - charter - airline, they normally fly from miami to ... havanna, cuba!) and all of us hoping to get on board on saturday evening... last little "pearl": the boeing 737 was chartered (and paid for) by ... the church of scientology (which had amazing helpers on the ground; and was flying out orphans to miami - thank you, tom cruise)

(part3) i was never planning to attend my own (the models have paper based dresses with my art/canvases on the dresses, then painted on again) fashion show (planned many weeks ahead as you can imagine). it just so happened that i landed in miami @ 11 in the evening and the fashion show was at 1 in the morning (thus technically on sunday). so i went, dirty, unshaven, smelly into this high level nightclub at the gansevoort south hotel. trust me i was surprised myself that the doormen even let me in, although techically and on the invitations i was the host of this show... life is rather cruel and has many facettes. you do what you can and let it affect you in your spare time. for full set of photos feel free to go to my site www.coolpoolevents.com or see www.youtube.com/coolpoolmedia...

(part2) on thursday got a call in the morning to be at the airport within 60 minutes if i wanted to help. so on thursday i flew to haiti. came back on saturday at 11 in the evening (haiti is less than 2 hours flying time from miami). it was not planned that way, it just happened that someone came into that big sleeping tent for 200 doctors, nurses and helpers at 7:30 saying that a big plane might leave (or not, nobody knew) right now from the airport. the hospital is one mile from the runway on airport grounds.

roman, very simple: on wednesday i was helping to organize stuff in the warehouse at the airport, then went back home and in the evening photographed (my own) mini fashion show (for a fashion industry networker). went to sleep.

WOW, very nice, but I just do not understand one thing. On Wednesday you're at the airport with lot of stuf and I assume you fly to Haiti. But where did you get those models? The only thing I can think of, is that you jumped away from the airport to the club for a few photos :-). Please put here some info about your trip. Thanks Roman Dolecek.

I am looking forward to see your descriptions of the days. I think it will help us to understand circumstances. But I like this set. Adolf
