Terezie Biryukov has perfectly documented a week of life of a young lady. Not only that this young lady indulges in interesting hobbies and has alternative taste for music, she also carries a great deal of potential in photography. It would definitely be interesting to see the comparison of today’s weeks with Terezie’s life in roughly 20 years; who knows, we might even be able to. However, 20 years is a long time from now and we are interested in the present, so skillfully and emotionally presented by Terezie.

Seeing the world through the eyes of Kamil Kašpárek must be interesting. His first week on WoL suggests so. From all your comments and reactions, it is evident that you are fully enjoying the ideas and diverse thoughts of our new member. As members, you keep on surprising and inspiring us and even though we live through the same moments and find ourselves in similar situations, it’s almost beyond belief how many ways you can represent your life and involve your soul at the same time; as it is the case of Kaspy’s 1st week.

Mila Štáfek does not belong amongst the regular users of WoL, but when he does contribute it is definitely worth it. The same goes for his latest week called ‘There and back again’, with the name already suggesting that you will keep looking at it over and over again. Mila has his own style and shows us that besides riding the skateboard, he is proficient in the field of photography. There is not a single photograph that bores you and after going through the whole set you will realize that you’ve been injected with a dose of energy and optimism. And if for instance you wish to know what the word ‘bowl’ means, all the more reason to visit this week.

As we have mentioned in the past, thanks to the increasing number of WoL members joining from various parts of the world, we now have the option not only to compare different lifestyles, but also experience the diverse approaches to documenting life, adherent to the way an individual perceives life around him. For this very reason we were dazzled by the first week of Poteryaev Sergey, whose photographs are a little different with its rendering and color toning. We are more than happy that Sergey has shared his 7 days of life with us and eagerly await the next episode.

George Bednář and his week with a folklore trait not only enriches the project with quality images, but also perfectly highlights the contrast between the styles of life and forms of entertainment on the opposite sides of the Czech Republic. Despite the fact that this country belongs amongst the smaller ones on this planet, the differences between villages and cities are enormous. To this day, young villagers put on folk costumes during all sorts of events and festivals, whereas in the city, the successful live alongside the less fortunate, who for whatever reason ended up on the street and their daily ‘job’ involves open palms waiting for that coin to drop in.
